UFC on ABC: Vettori vs. Holland Results

This is first event to feature Venum as the new UFC's official uniform partner. This ended an Reebok uniforms era, Reebok was UFC official partner from 2014.

Main event of this card was supposed to be fight between Marvin Vettori and Darren Till. However, Till pulled out of the fight on March 30th due to a broken collarbone. On April 1st, it was announced that Kevin Holland will step up to face Vettori.

On prelims, former Cage Warriors Bantamweight Champion, Jack Shore won via split decision against Hunter Azure (former LFA fighter). Shore impproved his record to 3-0 in UFC while Azure fall to 2-2 in UFC.

Jarjis Danho got his first UFC win (his record is now 1-1-1 in UFC) after KO victory over Yorgan de Castro (now 1-3 in UFC) who suffered his 3rd consecutive loss and he might be cut from promotion in near future.

Former KSW Lightweight and Featherweight Champion, Mateusz Gamrot won via second round knockout against Scott Holtzman.

Joe Solecki pick up unanimous decision win over true veteran of the sport, Jim Miller.

Main Card opener was fight between Daniel Rodriguez and Mike Perry. Rodriguez was clearly better fighter last night, so well deserved win for Rodriguez (now 4-1 in UFC), Mike Perry suffer his 4th loss in last 5 fights and his record in UFC is now 7-8.

Great finish by Mackenzie Dern and her 4th win in a row which surely giving her even bigger chance to soon be able to fight for the belt. She submitted Nina Ansaroff in round one via armbar. This was Nina's comeback fight (in the meantime she and her partner, UFC double champ Amanda Nunes, welcomed a daughter last September) after almost two years and her fight against Tatiana Suarez on UFC 238.

Julian Marquez defeated long time UFC veteran, Sam Alvey, via rear-naked choke in round number two and now improved his record to 3-1 in UFC. Interestingly, Marquez all three fights in UFC finished by submission.

Co-main event gave us fight between two hot prospects in UFC, Arnold Allen (9 fight win streak coming into this fight, 7 of that in UFC) and Sodiq Yusuff (6 fight win streak coming into this fight, 4 of that in UFC). After three rounds of fighting, Allen won by unanimous decision win and he confirmed his spot at featherweight rankings.

In main event, top middleweight contender Marvin Vettori defeated Kevin Holland after five rounds of pretty much boring fight and improved his win streak to 5. Holland, even though he lost this fight, we should give him props to step up on short notice.
