UFC Fight Night : dos Santos vs Tuivasa - Post Event Analyse

Main Card

• Jimmy Crute def. Paul Craig via SUB ( kimura ). Both men get takedown but Crute had arm-triangle choke and kimura attempts and also very solid GNP. In second round Craig had few takedowns and probably win that round but Crute also had some good swithces from back to top position. In third Crute dominated Craig and just about 15 seconds left of fight Crute set up excellent kimura and force Craig to tap.

• Sodiq Yusuff def. Suman Mokhtarian via TKO ( punches ). Yusuff started strong, Mokhtarian initiate clinch. Yusuff landing some good knees in clinch. They split and Yusuff land right hook that rocked a little bit his opponent. Yusuff landing some clean shots and continue to land while Mokhtarian covered up on fence but Yusuff keep the pace and judge stop the fight. Stoppagge maybe come early but also, Moktharian was covered up and he didn't try to escape. Good debut win for Yusuff.

• Anthony Rocco Martin def. Jake Matthews via SUB ( anaconda choke ). First round was very close but Matthews knockdown Martin and try finish him with guillotine choke. Second round was close with slightly adventage for Martin. In third Martin had initiative. Matthews goes for takedown butMartin defend it well and take back of Matthews. He set up anaconda choke and put Matthews on sleep.

• Justin Willis def. Mark Hunt via UD. In first round Hunt had initiative and he was little better. In round two and three Willis going backwards but very well counterpunching Hunt. Well deserved win for Willis. This was last fight for Mark Hunt in UFC.

Co-Main Event

• Mauricio Rua def. Tyson Pedro via TKO ( punches ). In first round Pedro rocked Rua two times but didn't get finish. In second round Rua had two takedowns and ground control for about 3 minutes. In third round Pedro injured ankle and Rua take adventage and successfully defeated Pedro with GNP.

Main event

• Junior dos Santos def. Tai Tuivasa via TKO ( punches ). Tuivasa was better in first round. He had initiative, landing some good kicks and didn't let dos Santos to attack. Tuivasa even had a chance for finish in last 60 seconds of round one but somehow dos Santos survived. Tuivasa continue pressuring but dos Santos catch him with right hand. Tuivas moving forward but dos Santos land combination of left and right that send Tuivasa to ground and finish him with solid GNP.
