UFC 236: Holloway vs. Poirier 2

• Brandon Davis, Poliana Botelho, Montel Jackson and Belal Muhammad won their fights.

• Alexandre Pantoja and Matt Frevola also won their fights.

• Nikita Krylov and Khalil Rountree Jr. won their fights.

• Dwight Grant defeated Alan Jouban by split decision.

• Israel Adesanya defeated Kelvin Gastelum by unanimous decision in best fight of the card. In every round, no one know who will be better and who will finish fight. After 4 round in which we saw all, the 5th round was key for win. In this fifth round Adesanya dropped Gastelum 3 times and that was enough for win. Adesanya is now supposed to fight against current MW champion Robert Whittaker for unification of titles.

• Dustin Poirier showed excellent performance against current FTW champion Max Holloway. First round, very dominant by Poirier was key for victory in this fight. Poirier is now supposed to fight against current LW champion Khabib Nurmagomedov for unification of titles.

UFC FIGHT NIGHT: Overeem vs. Oleinik

• Michal Oleksiejczuk defeated Gadzhimurad Antigulov via KO.

• Shamil Abdurakhimov defeated Marcin Tybura via TKO.

• Sultan Aliev defeated Keita Nakamura via unanimous decision.

• Krzystof Jotko after 3L in a row defeated newcomer Alen Amedovski in very dominant way.

• Roxanne Modafferi defeated Antonina Shevchenko via split decision, but Modafferi was really better fighter and she use very well fact that Antonina is not so good on ground.

• Sergei Pavlovich defeated Marcelo Golm via KO.

• Islam Makhachev defeated newcomer Arman Tsarukyan via unanimous decision. Not most brilliant performance by Makhachev but what a good show of skills for newcomer Tsarukyan. He showed that he will be not easy fight for anyone.

• Alistair Overeem defeated Aleksei Oleinik with some nasty knees and it look like Overeem is on another road to title fight. Oleinik after this loss will now be force to start from begining and hope for new streak that could lead him to title shot conversation.

UFC FIGHT NIGHT: Jacare vs. Hermansson

• Angela Hill ( back to winning column after 2L in a row ) defeated Jodie Esquibel ( 3rd L in 3rd fight in UFC ) via unanimous decision.

• Jim Miller submitted his opponent Jason Gonzalez.

• Gilbert Burns, Carla Esparza, Augusto Sakai and Takashi Sato won their fights.

• John Lineker losses from Cory Sandhagen by split decision, while Mike Perry defeated Alex Oliveira by unanimous decision.

• Glover Teixeira defeated Ion Cutelaba by submission.

• Jack Hermansson defeated Ronaldo 'Jacare' Souza via unanimous decision. After just four weeks since his last fight, Hermansson accepted 'short notice' fight and defeat Souza in very dominant way. 'Jacare' was not good, he let Hermansson to take him down 3 times, also he couldn't set up his style very well. Well deserved win for Hermansson.
