SBC 25 - Recap

SBC 25 was in Spens Hall in Novi Sad, Serbia.

• Nemanja Uveric def. Adrian Radovanovic via KO ( punch ). Good left hook by Uveric and fight was over.

• Max Lima def. Nenad Avramovic via KO ( knee ). Avramovic dominated fight in first round ( had 5 takedowns with solid ground control ) and most of second round. But, we saw why is MMA one of the most popular combat sport right now. Lima landed good knee to Avramovic's head and fight was over, just like that.

• Julija Pajic def. Marina Mihajlicin via SUB ( armbar ). Good knees in clinch with very good combinations in stand up from Pajic. Pajic got Mihajlicin back, try to finish the fight, Mihajlicin defends very well but another attempt from Pajic Mihajlicin didn't defend and she was forced to tap.

• Mario Zgela def. Givago Francisco via TKO ( Retirement ). Zgela dominated Givago from start to finish of round one. After end of round Givago was unable to continue fight.

• Nemanja Kovac def. Antonio Paulo via UD. Very close stand up fight, looked like Kovac landed cleaner shots and deserved win more.

• Lucas Ananias def. Kirill Tropinin via KO ( knee ). Excellent and exciting fight, Ananias land knee that lead to finish of fight.

• Predrag Bogdanovic def. Laerte Costa E Silva via UD. Another dominant performance from Bogdanovic. He had takedowns and ground control and won his fight.

Flyweight Title Fight

• Magomedgadzhi Shanavazov def. Joriedson Reis de Souza via SD. Very close fight, it could go either way.

Middleweight Title Fight

• Miro Jurkovic def. Manoel Fernandes Neto Jr. via UD. Jurkovic had control of fight for almost 2 and a half round and in last 3 minutes Neto had offence and try to finish the fight but Jurkovic defended himself and secure the win and title.

Lightweight Title Fight

• Jackson Loureiro def. Slobodan Maksimovic via UD. Maksimovic was unable to defeat current LW champion Loureiro. Loureiro did excellent job and won fight by unanimous decision.

Main Event ( Light Heavyweight Title Fight )

• Igor Pokrajac def. Maiquel Falcao via TKO ( punches ). Falcao dominated the fight untile that spinning elbow from Pokrajac. After that Pokrajac with good and patient GnP finish the fight. This was rematch between these two, in first fight Falcao won by TKO to capture SBC LHW championship while Pokrajac now won by TKO to capture LHW championhsip.
