Megdan 7 - Recap

Megdan 'For better times' was held in Novi Sad, Serbia. This was 7th event by organisation. We saw 6 MMA and 3 K-1 fights with a MMA title fight in Heavyweight division.

In first fight of the night, in very interesting fight Boris Markovic defeated Predrag Jovanovic after three rounds of fighting. Next fight was between two young prospects in K-1 where Jovan Nikolic got win.

After K-1 clash we saw 3 very dominant wins in MMA fights by Milos Janicic, Nenad Milanov and Aboubacar Bathilly. In first big rematch held by Megdan organisation, in a K-1 fight, Igor Nistor again defeated Damjan Savanovic by unanimous decision.

In heavyweight title fight between Daniel Toledo and Mamadou Sene, Toledo defeated Sene via knockout and become inaugural Megdan HW champion. Nikola Joksovic defeated Bojan Kosednar and continue his rise in MMA Balkan scene with wins by finishes and getting reputation of next big talent.

In main event of the evening, former Megdan champion, Cedo Pantic defeated one of the best K-1 fighters in the world, Samo Petje. It was very close fight, but it seems like Petje started to put pressure on the Pantic too late. It will be interesting to see, will we have a chance to see a rematch between these two fighters.
