Megdan 5 - Recap

Megdan 'Mladih vitezova' ( 'Young knights' ) was 5th event of Megdan organization and first that was held outside of Novi Sad. This event was held in Pinki Hall, Sremska Mitrovica, Serbia.

K-1 FIGHT:

• Damjan Savanovic def. Igor Nistor by UD. MMA Analyse score this fight 30-27 for Savanovic. Savanovic had better combinations and when Nistor try to pressure he was good in countering those attacks.

MMA FIGHTS:

• Zarko Sedoglavic def. Dragan Dragojevic by TKO ( punches ). Takedown by Sedoglavic, really fast get full mount position and finish his opponent with good GnP.

• Toni Valtonen def. Ivan Vicic by TKO ( punches ). Vicic had takedown and solid ground control. Valtonen start going forward, defend takedown attempts very good and with solid GnP finish his opponent.

• Zuluzinho def. Marko Djordjevic by TKO ( punches ). Zuluzinho get takedown and with good GnP finish Djordjevic.

• Nikola Lazic def. Nenad Milanov by SUB ( rear-naked choke ). FIGHT OF THE NIGHT, excellent performance from both fighters. R1 - Milanov get takedown and have over 3 minutes ground control with few submission attempts while Lazic after get back on feet with solid boxing almost stole round although at one point it looked like he hurt Milanov. R2 - Lazic controlling fight through the whole round while Milanov had takedown in last 30 seconds and some ground control. R3 - Both fighters exhausted but Lazic manage to control fight and after one attempt of takedown from Milanov he gets opportunity and finish fight with RNC.

K-1 FIGHT:

• Oleg Primachev def. Aleksandar Danilovic by TKO. Very good knee that give Primachev first knockdown in fight. After that, one very good placed body kick to the opponents liver and fight was finished.

MMA FIGHTS:

• Nikola Joksovic def. Milan Radakovic by SUB ( rear-naked choke ). R1 - Joksovic push forward but Radakovic good in counters and get round for sure because of landed punches. R2 - Same situation like in the first round but Joksovic is able to get takedown and set up very good RNC and force Radakovic to tap.

• Vaso Bakocevic def. Sultan Kalamahunov by TKO ( punches ). Takedown by Bakocevic followed up with good GnP and fight was finished.

MAIN EVENT ( K-1 FIGHT for -70kg TITLE ):

• Ramazan Razakov def. Cedo Pantic by UD. MMA Analyse score this fight 29-28 for Pantic. First round was clearly for Pantic while third round was Razakov round. Second round was very close and it could go either way.
