Megdan 1 - Post event analyse

Megdan 'Tamo gde mu je i mesto' ( 'Where he belong' ) is first event of new organisation called Megdan. The event was held on Spens Hall in Novi Sad, Serbia.

K-1 FIGHTS:

• Cedo Pantic def. Andi Uustalu via decision. Very interesting fight, very dinamic fight. But, Pantic was aggressive enough to earn win.

• Nikola Todorovic def. Bozidar Georgiev via KO. Domination for Todorovic and end of fight with beautiful left hand that finish the job.

• Slobodan Mijajlovic def. Adrian Petencheu via decision. First two round very even, but in third Mijajlovic drops Petencheu two times and dominate whole 3rd round to secure win on points.

• Petar Jaman def. Gordan Zoric via KO. Express win for Jaman with excellent liver kick.

MMA FIGHTS:

• In first fight of card Marko Gucu defeated Khattab Abdul Salam via SUB ( rear-naked choke ). In first two round we saw very close fight, but with slightly adventage for Gucu. In third round Gucu set up very good rear-naked choke and force his opponent to tap. This was also pro debut for Gucu.

• Stefan Negucic defeated Alexandros Kospentaris via TKO ( punches ). From start Negucic goes furios but Kospentaris is able to defend those attacks. Negucic still manage to find his way with knee to liver and then with GNP finish his opponent.

• Savo Lazic defeated Tomas Kubis via TKO ( punches ). Complete domination from Lazic through the whole fight. Eventually, in mid of the 3rd round Lazic get finish and win.

• Daniel de Maddalena defeated Danijel Arandjelovic via SUB ( rear-naked choke ). Good feint and takedown for Madalena at the start. After that with solid GNP he open spot for armbar. He used that, setting up good armbar and force Arandjelovic to tap.

• Marko Radakovic defeated Ramunas Paliunis via TKO ( punches ). Express finish from Radakovic.

• Aleksandar Ilic defeated Marinica Bejenaru via UD. Very interesting fight. First and third round belong to Ilic while second is Bejenaru's round where he was near finish after very good attempt of heel hook. This was fight for MW belt, so Ilic become first Megdan MW champion.

• Abdulla Isaev defeated Ivan Vicic via TKO ( punches ). Vicic goes for takedown but Isaev defend and gets takedown finishing in top position where he finished Vicic with good GNP.

• Main event of complete card was fight between Vaso Bakocevic and Stefan Zvijer. Very interesting fight, very close fight. Second round and ground control surely give Bakocevic adventage and he won LW belt via UD. Bakocevic after this win become first Megdan LW champion.
