KSW 59 is second event in 2021 hosted by KSW promotion. First event of the year was KSW 58. Both these events was held in Lodz, Poland.
This card was deeply disturbed because fighter from Senegal, Bombardier was unable to fight just few hours before the start of event and put in jeopardy Mariusz Pudzianowski fight at atll that night. Literally, few moments before event began, it was anounced that as a replacement are steping in judo master from Serbia (who lives in Poland btw), Nikola Milanovic.
What a perfomance in pro MMA debut for Patryk Likus. After three round of fighting, against another pro MMA debutant Wieczorek Cyprian, Likus was declared as a winner by unanimous decision, well deserved for Likus.
Sebastian Rajewski dominantly won against Savo Lazic, after three rounds the winner by unanimous decision was Rajewski. Rajewski everything that he neded in order to beat Lazic, takedowns, good ground control and constant pressure in stand up fight to destroy Lazic's gameplan.
Adrian Bartosinski after very good fight against Lionel Padilla, finished fight with good ground and pound in round three. Bartosinski in very close round one had adventage due to a very good attempt of guillotine choke and it seemed like bell really saved Padilla that time. Round two bring even more close round but Padilla was able to have solid control that probably earns him round. And, in final, third round, Bartosinki had a relly good ground control, eventually Padilla gave him back and Bartosinski used that to get a finish.
Lukasz Rajewski was better after three round of fighting and unanimous decision win over Konrad Dyrschka. Very good fight, but still well deserved win for Rajewski. This win makes perfect night for Rajewski family, bacause Luksaz's brother, Sebastian was better than Savo Lazic.
Former FFC heavyweight champion and UFC fighter, Darko Stosic, made quite impressive promotional debut for KSW. He completely dominated Michal Wlodarek by knockout in round two.
In very non interesting fight, Michal Pietrzak was split decision winner in a fight against Krystian Kaszubowski. The most action packed round was round number three, where Pietrzak got takedown and had some solid control on ground.
Polish Olympic medalist, Damian Janikowski was better against Jason Radcliffe. In very close first round, the biggest adventage for Janikowski was solid leg kicks. In round two, on the feet it was a very close fight, but soon as the fight was moved to ground, Janikowski was able to get finish.
In a 5 round fight, for KSW Bantamweight Title, we saw very interesting fight between champ Antun Racic and the challenger, Sebastian Przybysz. This was a rematch between these two, their first fight was at KSW 46 in 2018 where Racic defeated Przybysz by unanimous decision victory. Very good fight, Przybysz was able to neutralize Racic wrestling and ground and pound while Przybysz was able to control the fight on the feet and land more precise punches. Wildest round of the fight, certainly, was the round number three. In that round, both fighters was able to hurt their opponent but didn't capitalize and get finish. After, well deserved unanimous decision win for new KSW bantamweight champion, Sebastian Przybysz. Well, we're going to see if KSW will organize the thrid rematch between these two.
Very fast finish for Pudzianowski in a main event but props to Milanovic for stepping up on a few hours notice.
