FNC 'Armagedon' 2 - Recap

FNC 'Armagedon 2' was the second event of a new tournament organized by Fight Nation Championship. Last night, we swa 7 fights in welterweight and featherweight division, with no clear explanation why fight between Ivica Bolfek and Mateo Bolfan is not going to happen. Only thing that we saw on Bolfan's official Instagram account was that 3 opponents failed to fight against him ( one due to injury, second due to weight cut and for the third without reason ) and because of that we assume that he is going to SF without fight.

Anyway, the SF spots in FTW tournament was secured by Nikola Djurdjev, Daniel Bazant and Robert Kardos with addition of Mateo Bolfan. SF spots in WW tournament was secured by Ivan Bilic, Milos Cvetkovic, Marko Ostanek and Jakob Kosic.

In first fight of the night, Bilic get a win over Luka Cvetkovic in very interesting fight. Nikola Djurdjev in his pro debut show some good skills and strength and very well deserved victory for him even tho he had one deducted point in first round against Djordje Stojanovic. Nino Skrijelj and Daniel Bazant gave us 'Fight of the night' and three round of very interesting action where Skrijelj had some good ground control but without serious damage in round 2 and 3 while Bazant destroyed Skrijelj whenever fight was in stand up. After all, well deserved win for Bazant. Robert Kardos and Milos Cvetkovic made a quick work of their rivals. Kardos submitted Goran Lovric while Cvetkovic finished Abraham Salimon Are with some good GnP. Marko Ostanek finished very experience fighter in Tonci Perusko in first round with excellent transition that gave him opportunity to submit his opponent in very first round. In last fight of the night, Jakob Kosic brutally put on sleep Rifat Prusevic, big prospect, and whole arena expplode.

After all, we watch another great night of fights, Armagedon second event didn't dissapoint and bring every fan of MMA a really interesting fights and some names that are yet to be heard.

• Marko Ostanek def. Tonci Perusko via SUB ( rear-naked choke ).

• Jakob Kosic def. Rifat Prusevic via KO ( punch ).
