FNC 'Armagedon' 1 - Recap

FNC 'Armagedon 1' was a first in a series of events that will be organized by Fight Nation Championhsip. In this show, called Armagedon, fighters will have a chance to compete in 4 weight classes in 16 men tournament with a chance that one of the 4 winners get contract with one of the best european organizations, KSW.

In this first event we saw fight 8 fights in lightweight and middleweight division. Stanislav Krofak, Milan Filipovic, Djani Barbir and Andi Vrtacic secure their spots in SF of MW tournament while Lazar Kukulicic, Marko Bojkovic, Luka Milidragovic and Patrik Celic secure their SF spots in LW tournament.

In first fight of the night, Krofak dominated Ivan Karacic with solid ground control and did enough damage to secure win. Kukulicic made a quick work of Bruno Golub and defeat his opponent with submission. Milan Filipovic and Marko Bojkovic have easy and very dominant wins and show that they can be very dangerous opponents. Barbir had a brutal KO against Ilija Brkan in one slugfest that was no longer then one minute. Milidragovic defeated Aleksandar Terzic by unanimous decision in very close fight where probably some big shots in top position gave him adventage and secure him a win. Andi Vrtacic had a phenomenal spinning backfist knockout against big prospect such as Djordje Bukvic. In last fight of the night, Patrik Celic and Hrvoje Stepic gave us really good and interesting fight. Even tho, it was very close fight, judges decision was a unanimous and Celic was declared as a winner.

After all, we saw some young talents and prospect from Balkan, they gave us excellent and interesting fights, also they all bring us hope that MMA scene in this area could be very interesting in the future.
