Bellator 243 - Recap

Prelims

• Dalton Rosta def. Mark Gardner via TKO. Very good and dominant round for Rosta, and after five minutes doctor decided that Gardner is not available to continue fight and fight was over.

• Charlie Campbell def. Nainoa Dung via TKO. Very interesting and close round, but adventage for Campbell because he had takedown and good ground control. In second round Campbell started attacking right leg of Dung and eventually hurt Dung leg and force fight to stop.

• Grant Neal def. Hamza Salim via UD. Dominant perfomance from Neal, very well controlled fight on the ground. Neal keep his perfect score in pro MMA.

• Valerie Loureda def. Tara Graff via TKO. In first round we didn't see anything significant from both fighters except few bad timed takedown attempts from Graff and solid combinations from Loureda. In second round Loureda lands little more and at in the last five seconds she land excellent right and finish Graff with GnP and get another win in her pro career.

• Cris Lencioni def. AJ Agazarm via UD. Lencioni was better fighter through the whole fight and show that he could be future of Bellator.

• Adam Borics def. Mike Hamel via SD. First round very close with Hamel had takedowns and clinch control while he didn't ladn significant strikes. In second round Borics land better strikes and probably won round. Very close third round with maybe little adventage for Borics.

Main Card

• Sabah Homasi def. Curtis Millender via UD. Very good perfomance from Homasi, he was better in first two round while Millender was better in third round but that wasn't enough for win.

• Myles Jury def. Georgi Karakhanyan via SD. Very close fight, little better was Karakhanyan but Jury was the to capture the win.

• Timothy Johnson def. Matt Mitrione via TKO. Accidental headbutt that sends Mitrione to floor, Johnson took ground control and after very good control, he started landing some serious punches and Mitrione didn't defend himself and fight was over.

Main Event

• Michael Chandler def. Benson Henderson via KO. Very well placed punch that sends Henderson to ground and fight was already over. This was last fight on Chandler's contract with Bellator so we will see if he stay with the Bellator.
