Jay Jay Wilson and Pedro Carvalho, two top featherweight contenders opens the card with an very good fight and knockout finish for Wilson in round two. In round one Wilson was able to get a takedown but Carvalho reverse position and control from top position whole round. At start of round two, Wilson immediately hurt Carvalho, Carvalho try to survive but while he was ecaping Wilson make stepover, getting full mount and finish the fight with punches.
Mads Burnell and Saul Rogers put on a great show in round one, as we saw back and forth battle on ground. In round two, Rogers attempted takedown, instead Burnell get takedown on his own and with very good control eventually set up rear-naked choke and force Rogers to tap.
Karl Albrektsson dominated Viktor Nemkov for three rounds and earned unanimous decision win. Key to success for Albrektsson was good ground control and ability to takedown his opponent very easily.
Lance Gibson Jr. had a very good control of fight and he show very good striking in his unanimous decision win over Marcus Surin.
Raymond Daniels dominated Peter Stanonik in both striking and grappling and earned well deserved unanimous decision win.
Grachik Bozinyan in very competitive first round against Demarques Jackson had slight adventage while in second he completely controlled situation in cage and convicingly won that round. In the third round, another close roung but adventage to Jackson for rear-naked choke attempt. After all three rounds, winner via unanimous decision was Bozinyan, very well deserved.
Stewe Mowry with an fast finish by knee and punches against Shaun Asher.
Julius Anglickas, official World Grand Prix alternate, got hard fought unanimous decison win against Gregory Milliard.
Former Bellator Featherweight Champion, Julia Budd won via split decision against very dangerous Dayana Silva. Second round was very close in this one and it could gone either way.
In totaly crazy fight, Paul Daley come out as a winner. At the start of fight, Homasi badly hurt Daley and almost finished him, but Daley was able to survive and even threaten with knees from clinch. In between round, it was obvious that Homasi punch himself out and Daley knew that. He catch kick, land nice hook and few more hammer fists before fight was stopped.
Veta Arteaga and Desiree Yanez put good fight for fight fans around the world. Arteaga was a winner via majority decision due to one point deduction in round two. Arteaga was deducted point because of ilegal knees to downed opponent.
First round between Corey Anderson and Dovletdzhan Yagshimuradov was more warm up then some action packed round. In second round, Yagshimuradov defend well but eventually Anderson gets takedown and almost finish fight at the end of round. In third Anderson materialise what he was not able to do in second round and finished fight with good ground and pound. Corey Anderson will now face Ryan Bader in semi-final bout of Bellator World Grand Prix.
Main event and title fight between Vadim Nemkov and Phil Davis. Nemkov was almost untouchable for Davis in first three rounds, he didn't give Davis chance in what was a stand up fight. In fourth and fifth round, Nemkov starting pressure less, Davis with initiative and control of cage. After five rounds, Nemkov was declared as a winner, and still Bellator Light Heavyweight champion. Nemkov next opponent will be winner of bout between Anthony 'Rumble' Johnson and Yoel 'Soldier of God' Romero that is scheduled for May 7th.
