Bellator 213 : Macfarlane vs Letourneau - Post Event Analyse

Main Card

• Nainoa Dung def. Kona Oliveira via TKO ( punches ). Oliveira took round one. After that Dung dominated Oliveira and eventually finished him with punches.

• Liam McGeary def. Muhammad Lawal via KO ( punch ). Lawal had some takedowns and he was very good with low kicks but McGeary defended one takedown attempt from Lawal. He land some good elbows and after that McGeary land perfect right hand that send Lawal to the floor.

Welterweight Grand Prix

• Neiman Gracie def. Ed Ruth via SUB ( rear-naked choke ). Fantastic fight with a lot of grappling. Gracie had few takedowns and some serious attempts to submit Ruth but Ruth successfully escaped from all. In fourth, finally Gracie set-up very deep RNC and force Ruth to tap. Neiman Gracie advance to SF of Bellator WW Grand Prix were he waits winner of MacDonald/Fitch fight.

Co-Main Event

• Lyoto Machida def. Rafael Carvalho via SD. Very close that could go either way. This is debut win for Machida in Bellator and 2nd loss in a row for former MW champ Rafael Carvalho.

Main Event

• Ilima-Lei Macfarlane def. Valerie Letourneau via SUB ( triangle choke ). Very good fight and win for Macfarlane. In third round Macfarlane had few attempts for finish. First RNC, then armbar and finally triangle choke that force Letourneau to tap.
