Bellator 203 : Pitbull vs Weichel 2 - Post Event Analyse

Main Card

• Maxim Radu def. Simone La Presioza via TKO. From the start Radu had few takedowns and his solid GNP secure him win.

• Alen Amedovski def. Will Fleury via KO. He catch with two very good right hooks and after Fleury fall on ground Amedovski threw one powerful punch that ended fight. This was 6th win for Amedovski, 6th by knockout.

• Andrey Koreshkov def. Vaso Bakocevic with well placed spinning back kick to the body. This is Koreshkov's second win in a row and he will probably be one of eight fighters in Bellator WW Grand Prix. Bakocevic was hang very good until that kick, but this was his debut for Bellator against former Bellator champion, so overall he didn't dissapoint in this fight.

• Alessio Sakara def. Jamie Sloane via TKO. Sakara hit one good knee to Sloane's body and after that finished him with excellent GNP.

Main event

• Patricio Freire successfully defended his belt for the first time against Daniel Weichel. In first round we didn't see anything significant. Second and fourth round is rounds in which Freire's had initiative and some serious punches landed on Weichel. Weichel was better in 3rd and 5th because that was the rounds in which he had control, even one attempt of D'Arce choke. Eventually, that first round and how judges scores that was key for win for both fighters. After all, split decision win for Patricio "Pitbull" Freire.
